I am a UK-based economist specialising in applied econometrics, macroeconomics, economic measurement and quantitative economic analysis. My work brings together economic reasoning, empirical methods and careful interpretation of evidence. Across research and policy roles, I have worked on economic indicators, forecasting, industrial policy and the relationship between measurement, innovation and economic performance.

At NPL, I have worked in economic analysis and evaluation since October 2021, serving as Senior Economist since June 2023. My work includes the assessment of economic indicators, quantitative reporting and analytical support for evaluation and policy evidence.

Before joining NPL, I worked as an Economist and Policy Analyst at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris (2018–2019). My work included industrial economic research, shipbuilding finance and market analysis, and research on mass layoffs in the United States.

Earlier in my career, I served as an EU Expert at Türkiye’s Ministry of Industry and Technology (2009–2013, 2015–2017 and 2019–2021), working on industrial policy, European Union alignment and international economic cooperation.
